Dempsey back in the national team

The United States national team coach Bruce Arena said that he is desperate to get Clint Dempsey back in the team for the camp that will be held next month.

The player who is currently under treatment for an irregular heartbeat has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

However, Clint Dempsey has been back training with the team earlier this month, and there are signs that he is recovering well.

Bruce Arena said that he would be happy if Clint Dempsey could be back in the national team and at least participate in the January camp. He is aware that the player should be rushed and that he would only want him to be around the team.

He agrees that Clint Dempsey will not be able to participate in heavy training in January, but he believes that he will be fully fit by March where the United States national team will be back into competitive matches.

The United States will be having World Cup qualifiers in March and will be facing teams such as Honduras and Panama. Bruce Arena hopes that Clint Dempsey will be ready by then and that he will be able to participate in the game.

He said that it was a disappointment to have lost a player such as Dempsey through this situation and that he is still hoping that the player will be back stronger with the national team. He said that Dempsey not only brings some skills on the pitch he also helps the younger players through his experience and knowledge of top level football.

Bruce Arena said that the United States players are training hard and that they should be ready for the World Cup qualifiers in March. He believes that the United States team has a good chance of qualifying for the next World Cup.
