Bournemouth Striker Jermain Defoe Refuses To Rule Out MLS Return

Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe says he would not rule out a return to MLS. Defoe is now 36-year-old came to Toronto in the year 2014 and scored 12 goals in 21 matches, but returned to England with the Sunderland less than a year later after a break in relationship with the club president Tim Leiweke.

“I certainly would not rule it out, because when I was there I enjoyed it,” he told in an interview. “I enjoyed going to different places, places I had never been before. I love visiting new places and meeting new people. But, even when I was there, I always felt that every team we played felt that there were some players who could continue and play at some level in Europe.”

David Villa Is Aiming For Supporters Shield And MLS Cup Title

On the afternoon of Sunday, David Villa  made a victorious return in the football club of New York City FC at Toronto FC. In a traditional Villa installment, he angled left on the dribble and made a 15 yard shot passing Alex Bono only 15 minutes into his reappearance as City recorded the win of 3-2 at the BMO Field. The return is wonderful for Villa who sustained injury and had missed seven consecutive matches because of that along with suspension from one-game MLS All-Star.

After marking the season’s ninth finish in 99 MLS start, He said “For me it was really the bad time as I wasn’t able to help the team. I tried everything to become healthy but my knee was not ready for the same and it said no every time – I waited till my knee said yes and now I am delighted that I am back and with my team.”

The Growth Of MLS’s Remains Steady Instead Of Spectacular

The MLS silences for All-Star Game, on Wednesday the top division state of America is very much in the sight of the beholder. Amid All-Star week all annual clamor the regular rituals are state speech of the union of Don Garber, where the MLS commissioner will present a snapshot that will say where do MLS finds itself.

Maybe, it can be an unusual event, involving a few exact equivalents in the world of football. In part that is because given the league’s closed structure, the role of the commissioner of MLS is proportionally an outsize one in comparing to his nearest equivalents in a league that is much higher profile leagues. Zlatan Ibrahimovic Happy In MLS

New LA Galaxy player Zlatan Ibrahimovic said that he is happy for his MLS start with his new team. He said that he made his debut in difficult condition while his team was losing and he is glad that they could manage to win following his entry.

He said that it is always a nice feeling to score a goal and it is even better when it is the first game for your club. He said that he was confident that he could score a goal because he was feeling well ever since he has joined the Major League Soccer. Seattle Sounders to sign Erceg

It is reported that MLS team Seattle Sounders is interested in signing Croatian winger Ante Erceg for a reported fee of $7.1 million. Erceg currently plays for Croatian top side Hajduk Split as a winger and has been one of the best scorers and creative player in the Croatian league last season.

Ante Erceg who is currently aged 28 years old has spent most of his career in Croatia except a six-month spell where he played in Turkey.
