LA Galaxy manager Sigi Schmid claims that the players need to rise up and show plenty of leadership skills in order to recover from the mammoth poor form that has engulfed the club over the last few months.
Curt Onalfo was the manager of the club when the new campaign began, but he was recently sacked after a string of poor results. Former Seattle Sounders manager Sigi Schmid was brought to the club as a replacement, but his arrival has not been met with a substantial rise in the results. The team recently fell to a third consecutive defeat in the match against Columbus Crew.
Former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole was sent off in controversial circumstances. Even video referee could not save Cole from playing on. This decision had a massive impact on the game. LA Galaxy in Europe suffering a heavy defeat against Columbus Crew, and it means that LA Galaxy have been unable to win any match in the last nine. Galaxy last won a league match back in May.
